Ahead of today’s match against Northampton Town, we asked our members what three things they think The Imps need to do to pick up all three points.

Here’s what elkimp said:

1. With a high wind forecast, this could be a game to play a bit more on the deck, like the Andrade goal last week. We proved again we can play through the thirds. Do this and get the ball to the feet of Andrade, Anderson, Rowe and Akinde and we will cause problems. Shackell and even Bostwick can set the tempo with this. But the key is movement and willingness from the midfield to come looking for the ball.

2. Get Danny Rowe back in the number 10 spot. He looked great there for two games, scoring three goals and linking up with Akinde nicely. Probably the first player this season to really look comfortable there. McCartan looks only an impact player now, Pett better further back and Rheady for last 10/15 when required.

3. The FULL and unconditional support of the Lincoln faithful is needed more than ever. A week after a penalty miss that sent some supporters into a rather seismic and ridiculous meltdown, we need to galvanise and as one, get behind this team on a charge to promotion. Sing and shout your hearts out in support no matter what.
