Comments:

SIMJON: “On reflection, probably Rhead. Not his most effective game at all but arguably the only one of the attacking players that was competent in what they were trying to do. Dickie in second.”

German Imp: “Eardley for me, that cross alone deserved a goal. Good defending and he is always looking to make things happen going forward, just a shame that some are not on the same frequency.”

PerthImp: “Between Vickers & Eardley. One kept us in the game & one was our most creative player. I went for Eardley because of his improvement and his managing to get in quality overlapping and crosses – difficult yesterday but showed why Eardley is an ex-Prem player.”

NottyImp: “Vickers all day long.

He took one cross yesterday and I turned to my Dad and said “He made that look easy!” In my mind`s eye, I was seeing Farman rooted to his line or vainly flapping at it. Unless Vickers has a melt-down, I think he’s here to stay.”
