‘Feels like 2 points dropped rather than 1 gained. Not going to complain about an away point though!’

‘Home wins next week and it’ll be a good point. Agree that it sounds like we could have won this one though.’

‘Disappointing in the heat of the moment but take the point especially after being 1 down. We’ve won / drawn more than we’ve lost away which in the bigger picture if we can keep our home results rolling will be just fine. Does add pressure at home though – we need to keep that run going.’

‘Clearly a point gained. Away to the team 2nd in the table, feels disappointing at the moment but on reflection it will be deemed a good result.’

‘2 points lost to me. They were poor and we were by far the better team in the 2nd half. Switched off twice at the start and at the end and it cost us.

They already look like they are in a false position and we should have made it 4 losses on the bounce for them!’

‘Every game is winnable. The League is that tight I would take nothing for granted…

Disappointed today, I thought it was a good time to be playing them and was quietly thinking we might get maximum spoils.’

‘I said before the game we’d concede late! It’s just classic Lincoln. Happy with a point but at that stage we really should be seeing out the game so disappointing. As has been said our away form has been letting us down a little, especially sad given the number of fans we have been taking as well. In our last 3 away games we have conceded 4 times in the last 15 minutes dropping us a handful of points. It really needs to improve considering we’re suppose to be a fit team. Perhaps need a little bit more bottle, concentration and killer instinct to finish off games.

But have to stress a very decent point. But you always have to look at where we can improve. Also have to mention the great support from Imps fans, superb effort!’

‘Great game to watch for me yesterday. After going 1 down so early on it could have been a real struggle against the side standing second in the league. Instead of that happening we had a proper go at them. Looked to win which is great. The ball from Nolan to Miller for our first goal was sensational. You would not see any better anywhere and the way Miller put it away was not too shabby either. For me, we had the lions share of the game but we did not look dangerous enough in front of goal. I was very pleased that we scored from open play though. The goals that we conceded were both a bit soft but we could really learn from the speed in which Nuneaton got the ball forward to create the chance for their second. By comparison we looked very ponderous going forward in the main. All in all a good point for us away from home although it was frustrating, given our possession that we didn’t go and get a third goal to put the game to bed. Still there or there abouts which is good.’

‘Jordan has most definitely improved, but I also thought Wright had a really good game yesterday! Especially towards the end of the first half ands second half! He took players on, picked out decent passes and got into good positions…hope his injury hasn’t come back and that is why he went off…because i think every minute he gets on the pitch he improves

I also thought Dixon did well when he came on, yeah he was at fault for the second goal, but he had two decent headers from corners that only just went wide, he also beat the left back every time he for the ball on the wing! And won us corners and got crosses in…’

‘Just watched the highlights.

First goal, the cross is flicked on and Newton’s had to decide in a split second who to mark out of the two he’s got. He’s opted, correctly IMO, to go for the first guy but the flick has taken it to the other one.

Fantastic counter attack for our second, albeit we scored due to the ‘keeper dropping the cross. How Miller’s made up so much ground in 5 or 6 seconds is scary.’
