Darlo are top after the next best thing to a bye in League 2 the visit of Lincoln City
Surprise surprise a mix up between Hoofnat and Beevers as late as the thirty-fourth minute gave Pawel Abbott an early Christmas present. To be fair that could have been his hatrick after hitting the bar in the second minute and seeing a good drive saved by Mazza. One nil at half time, not bad. Then the referee blew the whistle for the second half and as happens so often we allowed them to drive a bus through the middle without someone even sticking their hand up and asking it to stop. I`m surprised we didn`t applaud Ravendale`s goal.
Darlo 2 Imps 0 Att: 4,075.

Its 6th and a playoff berth for Franchise who swatted the Bees with another two from Keith Andrews and an injury-time strike from Jemal Johnson at a bit of a cantor. At this rate Brentford might also consider a move up the M1 and a name change. Johnson curled in another gem into the top right corner from 20 yards at the death.

Stockport drew at our fishy friends ahead of next weeks Lincolnshire Derby. With a wooden spoon on offer to the winners and splinters for the losers it`s going to be a cracker. The visitors went ahead a minute before the half-time break when Matty McNeil played a one-two with Anthony Elding before slotting home from close-range. Bet the bait was hard to swallow at half time. Of course they got off the hook when Bolland marked his 100th Grimsby appearance with the equaliser, a header from Tom Newey’s cross.

Lee picked up his usual booking as the County of Notts searched for inspiration and their first league win of the season. It came in the form of substitute MacKenzie who had only been on the pitch for 10 minutes. Spencer Weir-Daley headed down, and he finished from eight yards after 83 minutes.
