Secret T’s Weekly Column

It’s been a rocky month for Lincoln City Losing 7 out of our 9 competitive games which is simply just not good enough. I pay my eighteen pound week-in week-out and the least i expect is abit of fight and passion from my beloved Lincoln City but since January last year i have slowly been getting more and more disillusioned as a City fan. The blind man and his dog could see that we have needed at least 2 new defenders since Janurary and what have we seen? a 33 year-old has been plus a lightweight, makeshift right-back in Amoo. The fault in my opinion lies at our ‘Managers’ feet as he seems to be the only one who failed to see we lack in the defensive department.

Schofield is also the only one who rates Torpey over Stallard?! Although i don’t always understand and agree with Schofields decisions i respect them nonetheless he’s Lincoln through and through and is trying to look after our club, so people calling for his head is ridiculous. OK we have started poorly but keep the faith, We will come back stronger than ever!

My last topic is the absolute crock of sh*te our clubs PR is, for a ‘Community club’ the fans know nothing and what they do get is mixed signals through the local media for example last months echo-

John Deehan Director of Football; ‘There is no money available’

Steff Wright…calls himself a Chairman; ‘There is money available’

Todays echo suggests that Schofield and the players are on total different wave lengths as Schofield insists ‘We are not lacking confidence’ Where as the ever-popular Steve Torpey thinking ‘We have lost confidence’

I’m calling for the club to sort this out, not For Schofield to be sacked but to sort out what a joke our ‘community club’ is becoming after a lack of investment from the numerous player sales, TV appearances and Play-off finishes.

No matter how hard i have found supporting Lincoln i will continue to until the day i die, City is OUR club so KEEP THE FAITH!
