The Stacey West Story

11,000 fans went to a celebration turned tragedy 22 years ago. Of the 56 who died, two were lifelong Imp fans, Bill Stacey and Jim West. As a memorial to two loyal fans who grew up on the Railway end, Lincoln City named its new home end ‘Stacey-West Stand’ when it was redeveloped in 1990.

The teams will run out to the famous You’ll never walk alone song which reached number one 1 on June 1 1985 helping to push the fund to £3.5 million.
