First up, the answers provided by Marc:

How long have you supported Grimsby Town?

Since I was a young lad, so about 25 years ago now.

Where did you finish last season?

Last season we finished 18th.

What do you think of your Manager?

I personally think we have got a very good manager with us. The players seem to want to play for him and fans seem to like him a lot.

What are your hopes and expectations for this season?

After last season for me was to see a big improvement from last season and I want to see us finish mid-table this season at least.

One(s) to watch?

Two players I think to watch are our goalkeeper James Mckeown and Elliot Embleton, who is a midfielder on loan from Sunderland.

Who do you think will finish in the top 7?

Milton Keynes Dons, Lincoln City, Mansfield Town, Exeter City, Colchester United, Bury and Carlisle.

Who do you think will finish in the bottom 2?

Notts County and Morecambe.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

I hate to say it but they seem to be doing things right. They have got a very good manager and a team who seem capable of winning the league.

What do you think the score will be?

If Town turn up, 2-1 Town.

Random fact about your Club?

Grimsby holds the record for biggest attendance in England in The FA Cup against Wolves on 25th March 1939 at Old Trafford. 76,962.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Grimsby Town Supporter?

Proudest: beating Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield in 2001/02.

Most Embarrassing: losing first playoff leg to Braintree 1-0 when we were big favourites to win the game.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

Ahkeem Rose. Very young youngster coming through just needs more playing time.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

Yes, we do which I’m a member of myself. They have a voice in the club and help get fans voice across to.

Which was your favourite match involving Grimsby Town?

My favourite match still is beating Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield.

Which was your least favourite match involving Grimsby Town?

Least favourite has to be losing to Bristol Rovers at Wembley on penalties in the playoff final.

Do you have a Former Players Association at Grimsby Town?

I’m not sure on that to be honest.

What were your expectations of Jolley when he came in and has he lived up to them?

Come in and to keep us in the league and then improve this season which he is currently doing. He’s is definitely living up to them and hope it continues.

Why is the stand behind the goal called the Pontoon?

Got called the Pontoon after the Grimsby Pontoon at the docks where many of the mariners worked for five and a half days a week when the stand was named.

Now that the Peaks Parkway stadium is now a non-starter and given that Blundell Park is getting past its sell-by date are there any new proposals to move to a new ground?

There’s talk about building the stadium where they have just demolished the high rise flats but still waiting to hear what’s happening there.

There were rumours of a takeover bid for the club, what has happened to that?

John Fenty has come out and said that the rumours weren’t true but he is always willing to listen to offers as long as the buyer can prove he has the funds to look after Grimsby Town.

And now for the answers provided by Aaron:

How long have you supported Grimsby Town?

Since I was 3 in 1999.

Where did you finish last season?

18th.

What do you think of your Manager?

I believe Jolley is on the right track, he’s still young and upcoming so he will make mistakes but it’s clear that he has some big ideas and given the board’s backing he stands every chance of being successful with us long term (hopefully).

What are your hopes and expectations for this season?

Well doesn’t every team hope to win the league? But I think realistically a mid-table finish was my hope as it provides a good solid base to build upon and I expect a 12th-16th place finish.

One(s) to watch?

Elliott Embleton is often a threat provided we can get the ball to him.

Who do you think will finish in the top 7?

In no particular order: Lincoln City, Milton Keynes Dons, Mansfield Town, Bury, Newport County and Colchester United.

Who do you think will finish in the bottom 2?

Macclesfield Town despite their decent form and Notts County.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

A club on the up by making an astute managerial appointment and capitalising on promotion and the cup run.

What do you think the score will be?

2-1 to Lincoln, unfortunately.

Random fact about your Club?

We play every game away from home as Blundell Park is in Cleethorpes.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Grimsby Town Supporter?

Winning promotion at Wembley in 2016 is the proudest moment and the most embarrassing is losing 5-0 to Braintree back in the Conference.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

Jake Hessenthaler often goes unnoticed but he does the dirty work in midfield which allows others to play.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

We have the Mariners Trust who have a seat on the club’s board but they do seem to divide opinion.

Which was your favourite match involving Grimsby Town?

When we beat a full-strength Spurs team in 2005 or beating Liverpool at Anfield.

Which was your least favourite match involving Grimsby Town?

Losing to Braintree 5-0 amongst many others.

Do you have a Former Players Association at Grimsby Town?

We have the legends bar but I don’t think it is an association as such.

What were your expectations of Jolley when he came in and has he lived up to them?

I wasn’t expecting much because I had resigned myself to relegation so I was delighted and surprised to stay up going into the final game, this season I expected mid-table so as it stands he is meeting my own expectations.

Why is the stand behind the goal called the Pontoon?

I must confess to not knowing the answer to this but I do know that a pontoon can be used to describe many things related to the sea/fishing, for example, boats, floats and a jetty can all be called a pontoon so it’s a fair assumption to make that it is connected to that.

Now that the Peaks Parkway stadium is now a non-starter and given that Blundell Park is getting past its sell-by date are there any new proposals to move to a new ground?

Well there are loose rumours that a new stadium may be built at Freeman Street however there are no plans as yet and everything seems to be moving slowly because the club doesn’t want Freeman Street for some reason.

There were rumours of a takeover bid for the club, what has happened to that?

Well, our majority shareholder released a video last week where he said that a party was interested but they couldn’t demonstrate they had the relevant funds to take the club forward so it appears nothing as it stands.
