Following the win on penalties away at Sheffield United in the Second Round of the League Cup, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members to nominate who they believe was City’s Man of the Match. On this occasion, three players were nominated in the 24 hours following the thread being started. Those players were: Alex Mitchell, Lukas Jensen and TJ Eyoma. You can now vote for which of the three you believe was The Imps Man of The Match in the poll at the bottom! A screenshot of the poll will be taken 24 hours after it was started for the result!

Full debut against a current International striker and a 18m pound buy for the opposition, he put his mark on them from the very first minute. Deceptively quick but more obviously strong he was marshalling out defence with confidence and maturity.

His penalty saves literally got us through but was also assured in 90 minutes, one or two decent saves and a couple of strong punches.”
