MATCH THREAD: Reading v Lincoln City

This will be the first time he has been the man in the middle for a match involving Reading and his first for a match involving Lincoln City, having moved from the United States of America a few months ago to continue his refereeing journey as a National Group official, predominantly forming part of a quartet taking charge of fixtures in League One and League Two.

His first match in the English Football League following his move was the League Two encounter between Sutton United and Mansfield Town (0-2), which saw him show just two yellow cards.

Alex Chilowicz oversaw a total of 21 matches in the MLS during the 2022/23 season, showing 85 yellow cards (4.05) and no red cards. He was most card-happy in the match between Orlando City and Columbus Crew (2-1) when he showed 9 yellow cards.

Chilowicz has been the man with the whistle on 16 occasions since joining the EFL back in December, showing 57 yellow cards (3.56) and no red cards. He brandished 7 yellow cards in the League One match between Salford City and Wrexham (3-1).
