Ross Joyce has been the man in the middle for 20 matches involving Lincoln City:

He received an average rating of 2.57 following the 1-1 draw at home against Accrington Stanley in November. Some of the comments can be found below:

Chesterimp: “2.

Seemed in danger of losing control of a tepid match at one point. Clear error in no yellow card for the foul for the penalty despite waving them round with gay abandon otherwise. Failed to add time on for time wasting in added time and allowed Accrington to take the proverbial throughout when they wanted to slow it down.

Confirmed what we know about the divine Mr Joyce.”

kettrin imp: “2. He lived up to his reputation of being totally incompetent. The booking for Virtue summed him up, they did the same thing on a number of occasions without so much as a word too them. he added to a frustratingly evening.”

Riiiiik: “4. Far too many fouls given to one side in the first half but not reciprocated with the boot on the other foot. Should have stopped their time wasting or at least added on extra time for it. At least he gave the penalty, would have been a big fat zero if he hadn’t.”

Ross Joyce: 2022/23 Stats:

Ross Joyce was the man in the middle for a total of 37 matches. In those matches, he showed 113 yellow cards and 8 red cards.

He showed 7 cards on three occasions: Barrow 1-1 Bristol Rovers in League Two (6 yellow cards and 1 red card), Shrewsbury Town 1-2 Wycombe Wanderers in League One (7 yellow cards) and Barnsley 5-4 Barrow in the FA Cup (6 yellow cards and 1 red card).

Joyce oversaw 32 matches during the 2020/21 season, showing 130 yellow cards and 4 red cards.

He was just a little card happy in the FA Cup match between Marine and Havant & Waterlooville when he showed 10 yellow cards and 1 red card.
