Pre-match views from the Match Thread:

Imp13: “On form, you’d fancy us but for the second away game in a row a big-name manager has their first game at home. Luckily Port Vale won’t have the likes of Aneke and Ladapo as backups.

Hopefully, Reeco makes it to add that quality in the final third.

Looking forward to the game.

UTI.”

Luke Imp: “They sound as though they’ve performed better in their first two under Moore.

With a midweek game, we’ll probably have to look after the squad a bit and manage minutes, especially House, Bishop, Hackett and Hamilton.”

Imps2018: “This will be a tricky one. They’re hoping for a new manager bounce and have a home fans offer in today to get more fans in the door.

They’re in terrible form but I wouldn’t have said they’ve got bad players on paper.

Meanwhile, we’re 7 unbeaten but probably not been as convincing as any of us would have liked. They’re weak defensively so a day to get Bishop, Mandriou and Hackett on the ball. Ryan Loft can be physical up front for them so one for Jackson. Or they’ll play Wilson and they’ll be looking to get players around him and we’ll need Hamilton and Erhahon to have great games.

Looking forward to it!!”
