Which club did Oxford replace in the Football League?

Views from the Match Thread ahead of kick-off:

Luke Imp: “Interesting one tonight. Their home record is pretty similar to ours albeit a couple of games less. Both better away from home. Form wise over 6 and 8 there’s not much between us either.

The biggest difference is over the last 8 is whilst they’ve not been scoring too much, they’ve been fairly tight at the back (GF6 GA7) and we’ve been the opposite (GF12 GA15).

After our poor results the last 8 games or so, we’re in the territory of needing to be picking up wins and getting back in form now in my opinion if we’re going to keep challenging for automatics, so away at a mid-table side, given our record on the road, needs to be one to tick off.”

Skip155: “I agree Luke. I feel like Sunderland gave us grounds for optimism and tonight we really need to turn that into realism – in a positive way.”

Huntsward: “I’ve been in the back of beyond for the last few weeks, which has coincided with our downturn in form, so I take full responsibility. I’m back now to some semblance of civilisation and with a decent connection so I expect us to be back at our best and will accept nothing less than a win. Wishful thinking?”
