Lincoln City could well utilise the Spanish office for the second time this month with an audacious move for a left back if Luton`s Louis Emanuel doesn`t come over to the Imp side. With the Imps looking for two full backs, youth and pace is felt to be the answer on the left with experience then required for the right hand berth. It is felt that Swaibu can compensate for any lack of pace in a right back as he has done for Green. Swaibu and the left back will also help Kovaks who is otherwise pretty competent.
It would appear the management feel youth and experience will be well catered for this way. Kovacs. Hone and Swaibu are no mugs but could do with a mid twenties full back, until Green`s return – and that is if he returns. Of course Emanuel would offer the best of both worlds. In midfield we have options in Brown, Kerr and Butcher with plenty of man-hours and the unproven Clarke given a free role. Perhaps Oakes too could be catered for if the 3 interested southern clubs fail to lure him away from the Bank. A 4-3-3 might work on occasions if Oakes has players who can trap the ball. Clark could then move forward onto the left with Fagan the other side of the target man
