Joyous June – The Rendell Rumour

Ipswich`s Clark may not be pie in the sky after all with the Imps locked in negotiations with Peterborough over Scott Rendell. Also on the radar is Gareth Evans who will also cost a fee albeit via a tribunal. If we are prepared to pay for Rendell and Evans then why not a second coming of a Clarke?

Affable rotund rogue, Barry Fry is intent on getting his money back for Freck and Keith bless him. Perhaps times are getting hard for the plaything down the A1? Surprise surprise the cad has upped the anti suggesting he wants £150K for the player or indeed anything we sniff at Poshwise. Evans, Clarke and Rendell are considered the perfect foyle for Fingers Fagan. Steff and Dav will have to think about locking the cheque book away or teaching Bob Dorian the knack of peeling an orange in his pocket.

Though many are rubbishing the coming of a second Clarke we could well find he is both the real and the cheaper deal.
