OOH Lincoln Ladies will be seeking to win back the Lincolnshire County Cup on Thursday evening in a repeat of last season’s final against Scunthorpe Utd. The 7.30 kick off may be 7.45pm as The Lincs FA yet to confirm
The Lady Imps, who were forced to field a weakend team last season due to a new rule barring contracted players, will play almost a full 1st team for this final. The only 1st team players that will be missing will be Keeper Kay Hawke, and strikers Jodie Michalska and Amanda Barr, who remain under contract. All other 1st teamers will be eligible this season.
”We will be looking to win the County Cup back off Scunthorpe this season,” said OOH Lincoln chairman Geoff Adams. ”Scunthorpe did really well to win it from us last season, however we will be able to put out nearly our strongest team this year, so I’m feeling pretty confident” he said.
