Chimpimp: “I’m beginning to think Seb Stocksbridge has a double. He’s refereed quite well on his last two visits after previously giving the impression of having little idea and believing a red card every game is mandatory.

Thought he got most things right. 7/10”

Impalex: “I think he made some weird decisions at times but nothing to change the final outcome; as comfortable a win for the Imps as we’re likely to see at Sincil Bank this season.

6.5 from me.”

hulloutpost: “On the downside, he was a little inconsistent giving free kicks for what looked like phantom challenges and then for example completely ignored Akinde and Shackell getting positively wiped out from behind. I held my breath when feet were raised almost to waist height on a couple of challenges but he let it go. Overall he kept his cards in his pocket and rightly allowed some tackling in difficult playing conditions so a steady 6.”
