Notts County (a): Vote For Your Man of The Match

Following last night’s 2-0 win away at Notts County in the First Round of the League Cup, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members to nominate who they believe was City’s Man of The Match. Alistair Smith, Danny Mândroiu and Reeco Hackett-Fairchild were the players who received at least one nomination each, and you can now vote for which of the three you believe was The Imps Man of The Match in the poll at the bottom!

libertine: “Ali Smith. Used his 8-foot-long legs to great effect and made interception after interception. Lots of great individual performances, but for me, Smith bossed the game.”

Red Wimp: “There were a few decent performances but I would also go for Danny Mandriou. He was a constant threat throughout, showed plenty of trickery and was exceedingly unlucky not to score.”

cdhIMP: “Hackett for me, oozed class all match and created more from his possession than Mandriou did in this match.”
