The club have announced on their Official Website that a current Associate Director who was also the founder of the newly revived Deranged Ferret is to become a full Director and the Lincolnshire Echo have confirmed he has increased his investment in Lincoln City FC accordingly.
Roger Bates who has been an Imps fan since boyhood has in the past been involved with Trust Board and more recently the Club Board.
He is currently a member of the Youth Development Board and is also Chairman of the Caythorpe and Fulbeck Junior Football Club.
Speaking to the Lincoln City Official website he told them : ‘I have enjoyed playing a more active role at the club over the past few years and am really looking forward to increasing my involvement by joining the Board of Directors.’
He added: ‘The opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day management of the club, especially with Steve Tilson and Paul Briush taking us forward, is one that I couldn’t resist.’
Knowing Roger personally I can state that he will be an asset to the Club Board. Well done Mr Bates!
