How long have you supported Barnsley?

50 years.

What were and now are your hopes and expectations for the 2023/24 season?

I hoped for and expect a top 6 finish.

What are your views on your manager?

Neill Collins is a shrewd guy who importantly looks like he has the players backing him.

What are your views on your January transfer business?

For me, the January window was a good one we strengthened in all the right areas.

Style of play and tactics – direct/passing/hybrid?

We operate a high press with wing-backs pushing on much like yourselves. We are a passing side when our midfield are in the mood we can be a real handful.

One(s) to watch now and in the future?

One for the future Fabio Jalo is out injured at the moment. Luca Connell a great leader head and shoulders our most influential player will play at a higher level hopefully with Barnsley.

Random fact about your Club?

We won the FA Cup the year the Titanic sank.

Which were your favourite and least favourite matches involving Barnsley?

My favourite match was Liverpool away League Cup in 1982. W held the then European Champions to a 0-0 draw and took over 18,000 supporters I’d encourage people to YouTube it.

I think every visit to Leeds is unmemorable even the ones we won.

Which sides do you think will finish in the top six and which do you think will finish in the bottom four?

Top 6: Pompey, Bolton, Barnsley, Derby, Peterborough and Oxford.

Bottom 4: Carlisle, Fleetwood, Port Vale and Shrewsbury.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

Always had a soft spot for Lincoln saw my first away game at Sinsill Bank a 1-1 draw in the cup with the great Norman Hunter making his debut.

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your team, who would it be and why?

Hackett-Fairchild looks like a real handful.

What is your prediction for this match?

2-0 to Barnsley.
