Following the 5-0 win at home against Bristol Rovers in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members what three things they learnt from the match.

Who was your Man of The Match v Bristol Rovers? Click here to vote or vote below the three things!

Here’s what syimp said:

1. That this run of thrusting, attacking football shows no sign of coming to an end. Despite a strange lull in our levels at the end of the first half, which allowed Jenson to exhibit his goalkeeping qualities. Quick passing, always looking to play the forward ball, stretching their defence. A masterclass for 30 minutes, which sewed the game up.

2. That a player some have previously written off, has blossomed in the past eight days. I’m mainly referring to Makama, who deserved to bundle his first Imps’ goal into the net last Saturday and a week later played with tenacity, skill, thrust, and passion, had two fierce shots, one saved by the keeper and one blocked by their defender. NLN standard no more.

3. That anything is possible under Skubala. Even with the absence of Erhahon, I still feel we have the depth in the squad to,, at least partially, nullify the effect his absence would have had pre-January. I feel that he has game plans to accommodate most eventualities.

We certainly should have enough spare to overcome Orient on Good Friday and should fear no one, including the Champions-Elect.
