Midfielder Dean Keates was hailed by Lincoln City manager Keith Alexander after his impressive performance in the Imps’ 1-1 draw at Northampton on Saturday.
The former Kidderminster man returned to the side following a three-match ban and produced another hard-working display in the centre of the park.
‘Having Dean Keates back in your team gives you something that you sometimes don’t have,’ insisted Alexander, who also went on to praise goalscorer Gary Birch. ‘And it’s nice for Birchy to get back amongst the goals.’
