The game against Cheltenham this afternoon will not be one for the faint hearted but a result would take the Imps to 50 points and probably be enough to ensure League 2 football next season.
The return to the forward line of Ashley Grimes is a welcom boost and the hotshot hitman will be raring to go following an enforced lay off due to suspension.
The Imps have been playing 4-5-1 in their last two away games against Crewe and Bury and it has worked well although City failed to get anything from the game at Gigg Lane.
Steve Tilson is known to favour 4-4-2 so the Imps could revert back to that formation with Grimes joining Ben Hutchinson up top. At 3pm this afternoon we will know what formation is likely to eb played but it will be the result on the scorboard at 4.45pm that will be more important.
