Former Lincoln City youngster Andrew Wright has joined Grantham Town, following his release by the Imps earlier this summer.
The 20-year-old came through the Imps academy and was handed his first professional contract in the summer of 2015 after scoring 25 goals for the youth side, He failed to make a single appearance for the club, but did enjoy loan spells at Lincoln United, Spalding, Stamford, Sleaford, Matlock and the Gingerbreads, before he was cut loose this by the Imps summer.
He will be joined at the Meres Stadium by ex-City scholar Ryley Thompson, who has also joined Adam Stevens’ side.
