After each match, we ask our members to “Rate The Players”, so below is what was said about the four City players that have made it into the latest Team of The Week.

Joe Taylor:

Chesterimp: “We have a seriously good young striker on our hands.”

sedgleyimp: “Two fine finishes (though I might have managed the first!) and a threat to them all night.”

Ruskingtony: “The sort of natural goal scorer we haven’t had for a long time. Plus he is now working his socks off closing down.”

Jack Moylan:

Chesterimp: “2 more goals and a fine assist, just how good can he be?”

sedgleyimp: “We’ve got some player here. Fantastic performance.”

Jivin Imp: “At one stage I thought he might become our top goal scorer within 2 matches. Let’s hope it’s just the start of things to come.”

Paudie O’Connor:

berksimps: “Swept everything up like a Dyson, nearly scored.”

clanfordimp: “Good performance. Centre backs not overly tested but stuck to their task.”

Jivin Imp: “Another solid game, should have buried two golden opportunities.”

Lukas Jensen:

Chesterimp: “Good save when needed, earned luck with a rebound off the bar. Sound handling, one shank into touch. Now as good a keeper as any we’ve had in L1, behind a good defence.”

sedgleyimp: “Not much to do but when needed stood very firm. One excellent save second half.”

clanfordimp: “One good save, reliable handling, one nice little pick up from the ball hitting the underside of the bar. Apart from that not much to do.”
