Following the 3-1 defeat versus Derby County at Pride Park in League One, I asked the Vital Lincoln City members to nominate who they believe was City’s Man of the Match. On this occasion, three players were nominated within 24 hours following the thread being started. Those players were: Ethan Hamilton, Paudie O’Connor and Lasse Sørensen.

VOTE AT THE BOTTOM: You can now vote for which of the three you believe was The Imps Man of The Match in the poll at the bottom! A screenshot of the poll will be taken at 14:30 tomorrow!

Here are some of the views from the nominations thread:

berksimps: “It’s Hamilton for me, kept trying the whole time and continued to battle for possession. Like Erhahon and Mandroiu he has a quality that would massively benefit from others making space and running forward off the ball.”

hulloutpost: “Sorensen – was our only attacking outlet available for a meaningful number of occasions (and even then we did our best to avoid giving it to him).

If somebody has made a run, is the only one in acres of space when everybody else is marked up or static, just give him the fooking ball.”

POLL: Derby County (a): Who Was Your Man of The Match?

Hamilton

O'Connor
