Scotimp: “I remember the game at SB in 1987-88, I think it finished 5-1 and Mick Waitt broke his leg badly early in the game. He never really returned, emigrated to New Zealand, became a policeman, and somehow ended up coaching the NZ national team. Had he not broken his leg against Cheltenham that day, it is entirely likely that none of that would have happened for him.”
