Barraclough Set For Possible Start

The young striker who spent a number of years in the United States at college playing ‘soccer’ has impressed David Holdsworth in training.

Talking to the press during the week Holdsworth hinted that the youngster may have done enough to be considered for a start at Newport this afternoon as the Imps look to take three points home from South Wales.

With an unfortunate defeat at York midweek behind them the Imps will be hoping for richer pickings at Newport County who have failed to score at home in their last two matches.

Let’s hope if Barraclough starts he gets on the score sheet in an emphatic City win.
