Following the 3-0 defeat against Aldershot on Saturday and with Barnet retaining their League status at the expense of City changes will have to be made on the playing side.
One early exit may be Paul Green to Oxford but as he is out of contract and not apparently part of Tilson’s plans then that may be a done deal.
Someone Tilly talked highly of during the season was Mustapha Carayol and there is no doubt the flying winger put in some impressive performances.
He has the potential to tear Blue Square Premier defences to pieces assuming his hamstring holds up. However it is also looking like he won’t be hanging around at Sincil Bnk and may activate a clause in his contract which would see him move to another club.
Having cost £35,000 as a result of a tribunal following his move from Torquay this would be a massive blow for the Imps as they look to build a side capable of at least a decent shout at promotion next season.
Five other players are contracted for next season, defender Adam Watts, midfielders Josh O’Keefe, Ali Fuseini, Gavin McCallum and keeper Joe Anyon.
Of all of those Joe Anyons future at Sincil Bank must be in doubt as he has warmed the bench or been on loan since Tilson arrived.
