“Andrade was everywhere, had the flair, and he scored two great goals.”

The Vital Lincoln City members’ voted for whom they believe was The Imps Man of The Match in their 2-2 draw at home against Stevenage in Sky Bet League Two.

Views from WellingtonImp: “Andrade was everywhere, had the flair, and he scored two great goals. He had to be Man of The Match. Akinde a very close second, as he created the space and opportunities for others to exploit, just what we needed him to do. He was a lot tighter with his first touch too, and would likely have been Man of The Match most weeks.

Shackell third with an honourable mention (but unsure if he, or another, should have been the one helping Eardley to block the Chair efforts).”

More Comments:

ImpfromWashy: “Thought Andrade was very good but Akinde for me. He led the line really well even when isolated; won more of his fair share of headers, had 2 cleared off the line, should have had a penalty and laid on 2 great chances for McCartan and Andrade.”

Stevie_imp: “Andrade was fantastic on Saturday. Tied the Stevenage defence in knots. Two well-taken goals that secured us a point.”

impsimps: “Andrade took the eye of course, but Akinde for me, involved in all of the good things up front and probably scored.Good defensive clearances as well. Saturday just reinforced what a very good player he is.”
