Lincoln City Football Club are looking to pay tribute and say thank you to those supporters who unfortunately have passed away and can’t be part of the historic first-ever trip next weekend to Wembley.

Earlier today it was announced on BBC Radio Lincolnshire news that the club have worked with the Football League to secure a page in the programme for the Checkatrade Trophy Final where the supporters will be able to pass on the names of those who would have loved to be there.

Generations of supporters have passed away since the birth of our football club and all would have no doubt wanted to be at City’s first ever visit to National Stadium next Sunday, now this fantastic gesture by the club and the EFL goes some way to make that come true in one sense.

To get involved, all that is required is an email with the supporter’s forename, any nickname and surname and hopefully the requests can all be sorted.

There is a deadline of 12pm on Monday 2nd April to get the dedication/names in, and you can do so by emailing the club via: myimps@lincolncityfc.co.uk.
