Following Saturday afternoons 2-1 win at home against Milton Keynes Dons in Sky Bet League Two, we asked our members what three things they learned.

Here’s what NottyImp said:

1. Tom Pett has progressed so far this season he is now an automatic choice and is running our midfield. A proper terrier of a midfielder, he can push forward as well and offer an attacking threat. He is definitely not this season’s Niall McNamara!

2. Some people *still* don’t rate Akinde! He can look very casual at times and sometimes runs into blind alleys, but you can tell opposing defences do not like playing against him because he is so versatile. He can hold the ball up, lay it off and run off the shoulder of defenders. Not many players at L2 level can do all that with relative competence.

3. The team is starting to click. Even though we lacked a lot of decent final balls into the box on Saturday, we still came out 2-1 winners against a competent MK Dons team who were a division above us last season. When we really do start firing on all cylinders someone is in for a severe beating.
