This will only be the second time Adam Herczeg has been the man in the middle for a match involving Lincoln City, and his first time in charge of a match involving Wycombe Wanderers.
He made his Football League debut as a referee in April 2022, for the match between Rochdale and Walsall (1-0) in League Two, showing three yellow cards. Herczeg was officially promoted to the National Group (League One & League Two) ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The only Lincoln City match he has overseen was the 2-1 defeat at home against Doncaster Rovers in the EFL Trophy in September 2022. He showed 3 yellow cards that evening, all of which were to Rovers players.
Adam Herczeg was the man in the middle for a total of 26 matches during the 2022/23 season, showing 83 yellow cards and 2 red cards. He was just a little card happy in the League One encounter between Burton Albion and Barnsley (2-1) at the Pirelli Stadium when he showed 8 yellow cards.
