Christopher Pollard has been the man in the middle for two matches involving Lincoln City:

16/11/19: Gillingham 1-0 Lincoln City (League One) – 4 yellow cards
15/02/20: Accrington Stanley 4-3 Lincoln City (League One) – 6 yellow cards

TOTALS: Matches: 2 Yellow Cards: 10 Red Cards: 0

He received an average rating of 4.63 following the 4-3 defeat away at Accrington Stanley last season. Some of the comments can be found below:

sedgleyimp: “4/10 for me. Did try and make allowances for the weather but also missed some things which shouldn’t have been allowed to continue such as the foul on Hesketh ( ankle was taken) which resulted in the delay for his shoulder injury. I’m also certain he saw their attacker have a little kick out at Bolger on our side of the touchline but decided to ignore it. He was looking straight at it. The penalty I really need to see again but looked soft.”

Scotimp: “5/10. Gave a number of decisions the wrong way (for both sides) and seemed to dominate the linesmen, who only raised their flags once the ref had made his decision. As Sedgley says, I think he did see the kick by the Accrington player (I think it was Diallo) but chose to ignore it. That was a bit strange if so.

PerthImp: “4.5 – not overly impressed. I think last time my view was that he was overly fussy about the wrong things and didn’t seem greatly different this time. Very inconsistent with FKs and bookings.”

Christopher Pollard: 2020/21 Stats:

05/09/20: Gillingham 1-0 Southend United (EFL Cup) – 5 yellow cards and 1 red card
08/09/20: Milton Keynes Dons 3-1 Northampton Town (EFL Trophy) – 2 yellow cards
26/09/20: Mansfield Town 1-2 Exeter City (League Two) – 3 yellow cards
03/10/20: AFC Wimbledon 1-2 Accrington Stanley (League One) – 3 yellow cards
13/10/20: Walsall 2-1 Leyton Orient (League Two) – 7 yellow cards

TOTALS: Matches: 5 Yellow Cards: 20 Red Cards: 1

Christopher Pollard oversaw 23 matches’ last season. In those matches, he showed 73 yellow cards and 2 red cards.

He was a little card happy in the League One match between Blackpool and Rotherham (1-2) in October 2019, when he showed 9 yellow cards.

Pollard was the man in the middle for 16 matches during the 2018/19 season, all of which were in the Conference. In those matches, he showed a total of 61 yellow cards and no red cards.
