We have also published a quiz about the last time the two sides met at Stadium MK, which can be found HERE, and there is also another 15-question quiz at the bottom of this article! Have a go at both!

First up, the answers provided by Steve:

How long have you supported Milton Keynes Dons?

I became a supporter of the club when it was still known as Wimbledon FC, around the year 2000, and continued to support them after the move and subsequent rebranding in 2004.

Where did you finish last season?

We finished a very impressive 3rd in League One last season and missed out on promotion to the Championship by a single point.

What do you think of your manager?

Mark Jackson, is an honest and ambitious coach who is only a few games into his tenure as we speak, but already comes across as a passionate guy. Ultimately has a tough ask of him to keep the club up in L1 next season.

What were/are your hopes and expectations for the 2022/23 season?

Well naturally I had hopes of at least another push for the play-offs this year, but that’s now given way to whether can we stay up? Survival is the aim for us.

One(s) to watch?

The ones to watch in Jacko’s squad? There are a few I’ll put out there for you Mohamed Eisa, a clinical finisher who spent the first few months on the treatment table. The blustering pace and when he is through on goal there is only one outcome that is happening… Mo.Scores.Goals.

Jamie Cumming, our on-loan Chelsea stopper, is the main reason why we are not bottom of the table right now. Destined to become an England International at some point in the future. Safe hands.

Which sides did you think would finish in the top six at the start of the season?

Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday, MK Dons, Derby, and Portsmouth.

Which sides did you think would finish in the bottom four at the start of the season?

Morecambe, Accrington, Cheltenham, and Exeter.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

Lincoln City have a decent squad and like to play football the right way, Mark Kennedy seems to have impressed so far, so a mid-table finish would also seem fair for the Imps this season.

What do you think the score will be?

Not counting my chickens here, would be happy with a 1-0 Dons victory though.

Random fact about your Club?

We once produced better possession stats than every other team in European football, it’s true.

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?

Joe Walsh, would bolster the defence and I quite miss the chap.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Milton Keynes Dons supporter?

Not many spring to mind…

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

Zak Jules – a towering defensive colossus who literally didn’t fit in at the club when he joined. He went out on loan to Fleetwood though and returned as prime Roberto Carlos! Man still has his critics but definitely underrated.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

No, we don’t have a Supporters Trust at Stadium MK. We do have the MKDSA (supporters association), for whom I am currently the membership secretary, we act as one of three supporter links between the fans and the club. Representing the club in the community and engaging with the club on supporter issues.

Which was your favourite match involving Milton Keynes Dons?

That glorious day at Wembley in 2008, the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final versus Grimsby Town (2-0) the first half of a league and Cup double for 2007/08. Keith Andrews and Sean O’Hanlon with the goals.

Which was your least favourite match involving Milton Keynes Dons?

Well, there have been some shockers in my time following the club, for sure .. I’ve got to go way back to Huddersfield Town away, 5-0, 20/02/2006, literally a dire performance.

Do you have a Former Players Association at Milton Keynes Dons?

No, we don’t have a former players association, but the club does embrace its former players in various ways.

They usually dedicate a matchday where they will have a parade for them.

What is the best thing about Milton Keynes?

The best thing about Milton Keynes, the nightlife is decent, and we’re home to the biggest shopping centre in the region, and our Stadium isn’t bad either.

In the 2-1 FA Cup replay defeat on 15th November 2005 at the National Hockey Stadium who scored a penalty for the Imps?
