“When I used to burble on about “Beasts & Monsters”, he is exactly what I meant.”

The Vital Lincoln City members’ voted for whom they believe was The Imps Man of The Match in their 2-1 defeat away at Everton in the Third Round of The Emirates FA Cup.

Views from German Imp: “A difficult one as everyone played their part in making it such a tight and absorbing game. The three standouts for me were Shackell, Bostwick and O’Connor. Up until his substitution on 72 minutes, it would have been O’Connor. However, with some resolute defending over 90 minutes and that goal at the Gwladys Street End – Michael Bostwick take a bow.”

Here’s how the poll finished:

Vickers: 1 vote – 1.8%
O’Connor: 13 votes – 22.8%

More Comments:

berksimps: “Bostwick from O’Connor and Shackell. The Beast was in his element at Goodison, after twenty minutes nothing was getting passed him. And he would help himself to a goal.”

NottyImp: “Bostwick. Just superb all game. When I used to burble on about “Beasts & Monsters”, he is *exactly* what I meant.”

Stevie_imp: “Bostwick for me as we held off the onslaught after they overwhelmed us to scored twice in the first minute. Then scored our consolation goal. An ideal player for the big stage matches.”
