Ahead of today’s match at home against Northampton Town in The Emirates FA Cup, we asked our members what three things they think The Imps need to do to win.
Here’s what Jamesimp said:
1. Patience – I would doubt that Northampton will be easy to break down if the league game earlier in the season is anything to go by, they will also be coming to get a draw probably so not looking to concede.
2. We need to continue the steady improvement shown in the last game, Forest Green were a decent team and we stood up to their passing style man for man before grabbing a winner in the last quarter of the game, a trait which we seem to have acquired since the Cowleys arrived. Hopefully, Frecklington will be back at full match fitness and Bozzie can survive the full 90 minutes and take us over the finishing line before having a much-needed rest.
3. The full backing of the crowd again, we need to get right behind them no matter what the scenario is, these are two evenly matched teams both capable of winning, let’s hope the home advantage and the partisan crowd gets us the result!
