Ahead of tomorrow’s League One match versus Mansfield Town at Sincil Bank, we have done a Q&A with one of their supporters. Thank you to Dean from The Stags Supporters Association for answering the questions! Tomorrow’s referee is Sebastian Stockbridge and the kick-off is at 15:00.

GET INVOLVED: You can discuss what has been said in this article here, and many other topics on our 100% Imps forum! Also, have a go at both of the quizzes below (click the graphics).

How long have you supported Mansfield Town?

44 years out of my 50 alive!

What are your hopes and expectations for the 2024/25 season?

First priority is making sure we secure League 1 status for next season, having taken so many years to gain promotion to this level. I think most would be happy with that. However we have winning momentum and have made a good start with 4 points from 6, so who knows? That said we will be clearer once the transfer window is out of the way.

What are your thoughts on Nigel Clough?

Top man who has done an excellent job and delivered what he was brought in to do. Along the way we have been winning consistently for a few seasons now, some of our football has been of exceptional quality and we have scored plenty of goals. Also, Nigel is a great ambassador for the club, speaks really well and under his management our home crowds have increased to brilliant levels.

Which of your new signings are you most excited about?

Our new Australian International Keanu Baccas oozes class.

Random fact about your Club?

We always beat Notts County!

Which were your favourite and least favourite matches involving Mansfield Town?

Winning the Freight Rover Trophy at the old Wembley in 1987 was amazing. More recently thrashing Notts County, Bradford and MK Dons away was super special last season. As was hitting 9 past Harrogate at home. My least favourite is all our play-off finals!

Which sides do you think will finish in the top six and the bottom four?

Birmingham and Bolton will likely be up there and not too bothered about the bottom four as long as we aren’t in it!

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

Done very well recently and a great example of a club that recovered well from their non-League days, built on success and grew the club’s fan base as well.

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your team, who would it be and why?

Nobody however your Imp mascot made me laugh years ago when we were several goals up at half time and he sat sulking in the centre circle all through the half-time break. Brilliant!

What is your prediction for this match?

I really fancy us especially if we score first. However, I do think it will be a fiery contest and hope for a strong referee who is fair to us!
