Ahead of tonight’s game against Blackburn Rovers in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup, we asked our members what three things we need to do to beat them.

Here’s what NottyImp said:

1. Stay organised: Blackburn will field a decent team regardless of how many first-team regulars play. We will have to keep our shape well and defend in numbers, without dropping too deep. That’s a tough call to implement and I think we will need Shackell in the back-4 to organise, cajole and keep us where we need to be.

2. Hit them on the break: We have the pace to burn with Andrade and Anderson who are capable of scaring defenders well into the Championship. We could hurt Blackburn with that on the break, especially if we’re having to defend for a long period of time.

3. Make out set-pieces count: Every team at any level is always vulnerable to a well-taken set-piece. They are, in some ways, the leveller of football. So we should make sure ours hurt Blackburn and keep them honest. Nick a goal from a corner of free-kick and you never know what might happen…
