Comments:

German Imp: “Good team performance and a number of candidates to select from such as Raggett, Woodyard, Waterfall, Bostwick and Eardley. However, for me Sean Long just edged them all, I thought both his defending and attacking play was excellent. Really coming into his own at right back.”

Jaggy Imp: “Close call for me between quite a few players. Woodyard, Eardley or Knott all in with a shout. Long got better as the game wore on but he gave their left back, Potts, far too much space, far too often. Waterfall for me all day long – strong and assured, totally dominant in the air, with vital last minute tackles and blocks as usual.”

Rasenimp: “Personally agreed with Bostwick because he saved us a couple of times especially that scramble after Eardley/Raggett accidentally conspired to give Hylton the ball in our box!

Him, Long and Woodyard my top three.”

Luke Imp: “Solid if unspectacular performances today, I think.

Bostwick and Woodyard won the CM battle, Raggett and Waterfall kept Hylton very quiet and I thought Eardley had a good game as well. You’d not have known he’s a RB playing at LB and it shows how well he’s doing when Habergham can’t get back in.

Gone for Woodyard though. I think he’s had one dodgy game since he’s been here and the bar he sets is very high.”
