Strong case for appeal against red card, good footage available.

Appeal being heard Monday afternoon, sending off cost us three points, on top until that point.

President being set in deciding what a player can do in going in for waist high balls.

Game changers – three chances missed before any scoring, but at 1-1 County took control and we sat back.

Tuesday – great chance to put things right, put setback behind us, there will be ‘bumps’ in the road towards our target.

A good result on Tuesday will mean a positive start to the season for us.

Barnet good away on the counter. We have the usual bumps and bruises, everyone available (apart from Knott maybe).

Looking forward to seeing Akinola tomorrow in what has been a difficult situation for him.

Positive mood in the squad, will stick together and use any criticism to our advantage.

Too many free kicks being given away, should be no more than 10-12 per game, against Mansfield it was 15.

Attacks win games, defences win Leagues.

Farman criticism – win as a team, lose as a team, not to blame for any of the County goals, but he may have been disappointed with the Mansfield goal.

Tough League, we have to be clinical.
