This was the season we played in the League Cup Fulham and Peterborough, Carlisle, Swansea City, Scunthorpe and Notts County would visit Sincil Bank.
And yes it was only League 2 at the time!
How times have changed and the Imps have gone one way whilst everyone else in that list have gone the other.
Mind you there are other clubs in that season who are now with City in the Blue Square Bet Premier, Mansfield Town, Kidderminster, Darlington, Cambridge United, Grimsby Town.
Other teams from that season no longer exist, Rushden & Diamonds and Chester City with Darlington currently teetering on the brink.
So who did City play on 14th February 2005, non other than Barnet away, who remain in the Football League at the expense of the Imps. The Imps ran out 3-2 winners on that occasion.
