Well it was tantamount to touting at the turnstiles as the Imps fans were over charged or denied access to the Don Valley. Clearly the consumer concept is a foreign one to the cowboys who ran this show.

Several hundred Imps fans struggled to gain access to the stadium. Lack of change denied fathers and sons and mothers and daughters access to a Saturday of sport.

Many fans were overcharged for admission paying £20 even though they had to sit in inferior seating advertised at less money, with a ticket in their hands showing a face value of £20.

Vital Lincoln will be taking this up with the trust and board, though in reality what can be done. But can we really see the League doing something from an official complaint from the Imps?

As fans we can do but one thing:
Be warned away fans In Vital Lincolns experience .
You will need plenty of change
You will need Binoculars to see,
You will be lucky to get any refreshment
And as for a match program, well that is rarer than rocking horse droppings.

A shocking shambles with many Imps turned away or at best getting in late and paying 10 percent over the odds
