Ahead of today’s match against Crewe Alexandra in Sky Bet League Two, we asked our members what three things they think The Imps need to do to pick up all three points.
Here’s what sedgleyimp said:
1. Something which is probably far easier said/typed than done but keep the intensity and attacking movement shown in the first 20 minutes against Newport going for the whole 90 minutes. If we can do that we will sweep any team away and that includes the likes of Everton. I realise keeping that intensity going for the whole match is very optimistic but it’s Christmas so we can only hope.
2. Keep it simple at the back. I think it is great that we are trying to keep possession and build attacks from the back but there are occasions when it needs a Grant Brown hoof and some of the players are occasionally trying to overplay it around our own box. If in doubt get rid and re-organise.
3. The players should enjoy their Christmas as they have earned it over the first half of the season. But lads keep in mind we have a game the day after so a bit of moderation please and leave the hangovers and heavy bellies to our supporters.
