Ahead of today’s match against Newport County in Sky Bet League Two, we asked our members what three things they think The Imps need to do to pick up all three points.

Here’s what Gratzimp said:

1. Don’t take the game too lightly. This is probably a pivotal game in our push for promotion. Win this and it would be a much better Christmas, lose it and the pressure is really on.

2. We need to go off at a canter to start out with. Don’t play the hoof ball tactics, unless of course, the weather conditions dictate that. If we can do against Newport what we did in the 1st half against Morecambe it will be fantastic, Newport let in a few goals, but they score quite a few too. We really have to be wary of the counter-attack.

3. We need to find someone else who can play up front, preferably one of the youth team (you all know who). Rhead and Akinde can start and wear out the defence. Then bring on the youngsters to really have a go for the last 20 minutes.
