Ahead of tomorrow afternoons game away at Cheltenham Town in Sky Bet League Two, we asked our members what three things they think The Imps need to do to come away with all three points.

Here’s what NottyImp said:

1. Keep Calm And Carry On. There’s no need for a personnel/formation revolution at this point. Things are working quite nicely and, barring injuries, you’d expect a largely unchanged line-up to take on the Robins.

2. Improve set-piece delivery. Andrade will win corners for you all day long, but our delivery of set-pieces has been little better than average recently. The one good corner versus MK Dons resulted in an immediate goal. I believe that this could become quite a potent weapon for us if we can improve this area of our game.

3. Always look to get Akinde into the game. Pressing teams will tend to make us go “long ball” as they do with most teams at a lower level, but Akinde needs it below neck-level to really do something with the ball. We must be prepared to adapt to high-tempo, pressing teams to allow this to continue to happen. Feed Akinde and he will create!
