And now for the answers provided by Ben:

How long have you supported Everton?

Since 1985. I attended my first game in the 1986/87 season.

Where did you finish last season?

8th, after a good start, rubbish middle and a very decent end.

What do you think of your Manager?

He’s a very talented coach he does need to address the away form as we’ve been shocking for a good few years, also needs to mix up his tactics from 4-2-3-1.

What are your hopes and expectations for the 2019/20 season?

Eternally hoping for a trophy especially with the other lot winning everything. A good run at the top 6 which is very achievable.

One(s) to watch?

Bernard, Alex Iwobi, Richarlison Moise Kean could be a very dynamic forward line.

Who do you think will finish in the top four of the Premier League?

Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Who do you think will finish in the bottom three of the Premier League?

Norwich City, Newcastle United and Sheffield United.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln City?

Gave us a real tough game in the FA Cup last season very good manager and playing some very good football.

What do you think the score will be?

2-0 Everton.

Random fact about your Club?

We were the first club in the city founded in 1878 a row with the landlord led Everton to move from Anfield to Goodison and that became LFC which is an eternal regret not paying the rent!

If you could steal one Lincoln City player for your own team, who would it be and why?

Tyler Walker always looks impressive and one we have to look out for.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as an Everton Supporter?

Beating Man Utd 1-0 in the 95 FA Cup Final was a day not to be beaten.

Losing to Shrewsbury in 2003 with Rooney etc.

Who would you say is your most underrated player?

Lucas Digne never ever gets the praise he should do. He’s been a wonderful Leighton Baines replacement.

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

Yes, we do. They do wonderful things like the food banks they have at Goodison every home game which helps so many people.

Which was your favourite match involving Everton?

Got to be Everton 3-0 Liverpool 2006. Andy Johnson tore them apart that day.

Which was your least favourite match involving Everton?

Everton 1-2 Man Utd Cup Semi-final a few years ago. A win would have given us Crystal Palace in the final. That’s as close to a trophy as we have got in the past few years.

Do you have a Former Players Association at Everton?

Yes we do and it does marvellous work looking after toffees legends of the past, paying for operations, care etc

Is seeing Zouma struggle at Chelsea this season surprising? Last season he and Mina got bullied and beaten by Akinde in our cup match.

I remember that match and that was at a time where the zonal marking Silva was trying to implement was getting exposed time and again but his form after February was magnificent with clean sheets against Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United, so it’s a surprise to me.

Should your club be targeting the League Cup? Or should targets be elsewhere?

Definitely a League Cup it’s the one competition teams in the CL tend to ignore so it’s an ideal competition for Everton to try and win it’s a trophy we’ve never won.

If Everton U23’s won the Football League Trophy would you notice? Should the U23 teams be in the competition or not?

I particularity don’t like it. I think it devalues it for the EFL teams. We’ve been in it a few seasons and got knocked out so it’s good in one respect for the experience but to see two PL U23s team in the Final would make a mockery.

Lincoln are looking at the possibility of a new stadium and Everton has been looking at this for a number of seasons. How far advanced is your move and what kind of an increase in revenue and seats are expected?

It’s gathering pace we had the big 3D reveal video recently which shows the stadium on an application, the designs are for 52k rising to 62k based on the docklands of Liverpool which will rejuvenate a run-down area of the city.

Being the third club in the area (after Liverpool and Tranmere) do you feel Everton are perennial underachievers?

Always but we’re the first club of the City and I always consider us the first. Tranmere don’t come into the equation. We have underachieved for so long if anyone gets it right and I believe Silva can, the club will skyrocket with the new stadium on the horizon.

Do you think David Moyes will ever return to Everton?

No, and I don’t think we should ever entertain him doing so. His managerial record since leaving Everton should never warrant him being considered.
