Surely Now Howe can see Imp Future?

Though Rene Howe is unlikely to resurrect his career at Peterborough with so many in front of him he is still sitting on the fence with regard to a move to the Imps. The East Midlands equivelent of the Mexican stand off had seen many Imps forget that there is very much still a deal to be struck with the powerful frontman. Howe has tried to carve something at Posh in the close season and has finally realised it is not going to happen for him. This week Aaron Mclean also voiced concern over his own ability to get a regular place in the side following the emergence of Hampton and Richmond prodigy Ben Wright.

So clearly Rene will have to move in order for his career to progress and the Imps appear to be the only side to have matched Barry Fry`s valuation of the player. The Imps are believed to have also put an improved package to Rene and his representative very recently and it is hoped that a deal of sorts can still be concluded in the near future.

Come on Rene you can be a legend at the Imps and fire us to glory. We have a defence that can peel an orange in its pocket, two wide boys to die for and Chris Fagan picking pockets at will.
