The LCST Working Party can confirm that the AGM set for the 30th June will be replaced by an informal meeting. All trust members and non-members are urged to attend so that the future direction of the trust can be discussed. The Working Party will be recommending that Lincoln City Supporters Trust resorts to being an active hard-working fans organisation as it used to be. Those who subscribe to the trust ethos and are prepared to work hard will be invited to get involved in the recovery of the organisation.

The names of Rob Bradley, John Wilson and Anthony Smith were previously announced. The Working Party, at the moment, comprises three former trust chairmen (two of whom served on the board of Supporters Direct), a former Gold Members representative on the club board (for 10 years), and former trust board members including Tony Smith. Others will be brought in to give advice (financial, legal etc) as and when the need arises.

The Working Party consider that the 2013/14 trust representatives on the club board cannot realistically carry out their duties effectively having resigned from the trust board. The Working Party has no authority to act on this and we await the club’s confirmation of the position.

On a lighter note the Working Party wish to provide a service to the members and the parent club – something that has been sadly lacking in recent times. To this end we are pleased to confirm that Gary Simpson has agreed to attend a Fans Forum during the close season and we will announce the date as soon as possible.

We will be urging people to join or rejoin the trust and will continue to carry out the process of making Lincoln City Supporters Trust something we can be proud of again.
