Notices have gone out to our members regarding our forthcoming Special General Meeting and on behalf of the Trust Board I urge you all to attend if you can. This meeting is another step in restoring the organisation to a professional level and will enable you as members to approve newly compiled fit-for-purpose rules and policies.
In addition we are asking you to approve our new trading name of ‘Red Imps Community Trust’ and we will also be holding a Legends Q and A featuring amongst others Simon Yeo and Jamie McCombe.
Following this SGM the Trust will make the necessary arrangements for our first AGM in three years – another process that has been absent and should not have been. At this meeting the current Trust Board will stand down and elections will take place for nine positions on the Trust Board, The Supporter Director and Gold Members’ Supporter Director to represent the Trust on the Board of Lincoln City Football Club Ltd, along with our representative on the Board of Lincoln City Holdings.
At the AGM the Financial Statements will be presented for years 2013, 2014, and 2015.
After much hard work the Working Party that came together in June 2014 will, after the meetings described above, have achieved what they set out to do by restoring the Trust back to being a professional and fully operational organisation. We will have democratically elected members in place to represent you the members within the club and a new Trust Board in place to raise funds, arrange events, and play a part in many other ways in Lincoln City’s quest for success.
