Pre-match discussion:

TrickyImps!: “Very difficult to guess the formation. With no Roughan or O’Connor, possibly a flat back 4?

Possible question marks over whether Burroughs and Sorensen can do the job as full backs though, as opposed to wing-backs.

I’ll stick Eyoma in to keep the 3…

Jensen

Mitchell – Jackson – Eyoma

Sorensen – Hamilton – Erhahon – Burroughs

Mandroiu – Vale – Duffy”

berksimps: “if they play, Mandroiu, Duffy and Vale are going to be up against some big defenders so mostly will need ball to feet and no floated crosses. All three could earn us free kicks in dangerous areas and perhaps a pen.

1-2 City.”

Rasenimp: “I have no idea, but not convinced much will change that quickly in terms of formation – probably still a 3 with some new bits they’ve been working on within that – tweaks rather than an initial revolution.

They’ve only lost at home once so far (to a very good Oxford), and won 17 home games out of the 23 last season… I think a point would be good again.”

PerthImp: “Just watched the Stacey West podcast with Matt from Stevenage. He is very enthusiastic, but they are clearly flying at the moment and have some good players and goalscorers who are in form. The unknown factor is what Skoobs will do with our formation and how the players adapt to his style. Might be a bit early to get a positive result but I’m hoping we go 4231 over the next few weeks and more progressive. At the moment I’d be happy with a 1-1 draw.”
